Guy Ritchie set to take 152 million, all the kids and half Madonna’s music career, say lawyers
LONDON – The divorce settlement saga between filmmaker Guy Ritchie and singer Madonna Ciccone hit a brick wall this week after Mr Ritchie is said to have asked for around 152 million dollars, five year old Rocco and half of Madonna’s music career.
In a statement taken at his home in Chelsea, London, Mr Ritchie explained that he wanted only the catchy songs out of Madonna’s twenty year career. “If I’m going to go on tour with this stuff I might as well have the crowd pleasers” Ritchie explained, “but don’t expect to see me in a silver bikini with the twirly nipple bits.”
After going on tour with half of Madonna’s classics Mr Ritchie has said he will be on the lookout in bars for chance meetings with accomplished singers in order to complete his live act. Among the most desirable to Mr Ritchie are Elton John, William Shatner and John Lennon.
Madonna insisted that if Mr Ritchie were to have half her music career, she would be perfectly entitled to half of Mr Ritchie’s film career. After considering what films to take Madonna decided she’d have none of them.
